Operation Saving Democracy is a pro-democracy political action committee with a track record of moving the needle to impact important electoral races around the country that combines the efforts of National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) and Democratic Majority Action PAC (DMA). NSL4A is an unprecedented group that stood-up when over a thousand retired admirals, generals, ambassadors and national security leaders came together to endorse and support Joe Biden in 2020 against Donald Trump. These partners previously worked together to make critical investments in the 2022 Georgia Senate runoff on behalf of Senator Warnock and in SOS races in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan and Minnesota, defeating 4 “election denier” candidates.
The national security threat of Trumpism is real. The extreme far-right authoritarian ideology that has taken hold in the current GOP attacks democracy itself, alienates our global allies, weakens our standing on the world stage and our security at home, fosters disinformation and conspiracy theories, and normalizes violence against progressive agendas and liberal culture. We cannot allow this to continue, we must act. Our leaders in the defense community are patriots who have unique, credible and powerful voices for freedom and liberty that are persuasive to a critical group of voters in swing states. Honor Bound is a 501(c)(4) that works to inspire women who have served to “pick up their pack” again and become elected leaders, to develop leadership skills in women committed to service to country through mentoring and education, and to help us hold government responsible by supporting policies that build a stronger democracy.
